Designing experience for tab and mobile to open a bank account in just 5 minutes.

Digital account opening is no longer a luxury, but a differentiator when consumers were shopping for a new bank or credit union. The process had moved from being provided only as a desktop online capability to being available on mobile devices (primarily tablets) as well ie, the shift to mobile had begun.

The greatest problem facing online and mobile account opening today is poor user experiences that drive abandonment. Data entry is painful applying for financial products entails many steps to satisfy risk requirements and comply with regulations.

Leveraging mobile photo data capture, we designed the new account opening process that makes easier for a smartphone/tab user and eliminates the need for legacy, paper-based documentation that will dramatically cut down the time required to open an account.
